Refund Policy

All our clients are very important to us, that's why detoks.ca ("Company") has created the following Refund Policy to let you know how we handle refunds for the goods ordered and bought on our website http://www.detoks.ca ("Website"). This Refund Policy is governed by our Terms of Services.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items:

Certain types of items cannot be returned, including:

  • Perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants)
  • Custom products (such as special orders or personalized items)
  • Open and or used Personal care goods (such as beauty products, perfumes, colognes, body sprays, etc.) due to hygiene concerns
  • Sale items or gift cards

Additionally, Detoks.ca will not grant a refund, credit your account, or replace a produced product in the following cases:

  • Wrong Address: If the customer provides an insufficient address, resulting in the shipment being returned to our facility, the customer will be liable for reshipment costs.
  • Unclaimed Shipments: Shipments that go unclaimed and are returned to our facility will require the customer to cover the cost of reshipment.
  • Buyer's Remorse: We do not refund orders for buyer's remorse. Returns or exchanges for products are to be offered at the customer's expense.
  • Rejected by Customs: If a package is returned due to customs rejection, Detoks.ca will not issue a refund. It is the responsibility of the buyer to research import regulations and pay any necessary customs fees.

Return Eligibility:

You have the right, without giving a reason, to return the goods within 30 days if they have not been used, damaged, or substantially altered in appearance, and the appearance of the product or its packaging has only been altered to the extent necessary for inspection. However, please note that the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 30 days without giving a reason does not apply to legal persons (e.g. companies, entrepreneurs). This Return policy does not limit your statutory rights to withdraw or rights you may have in relation to incorrect, damaged, or defective goods.

Standard Returns:

  1. Any goods that you wish to return must be in the original packaging and unopened, in a condition fit for resale. If the goods to be returned do not meet these conditions, we will be unable to offer a refund.
  2. You must place your refund request within 30 days of delivery of the item.
  3. Please contact our Support to begin the return and refund process. Our Support team will guide you through the process.
  4. In case of the return of the goods, you will be responsible for paying the return shipping costs.
  5. You must exercise your return right responsibly and return the product in its original neat packaging, along with all complete parts of the product. If the goods are not complete, we won't be able to accept the returned goods and issue a refund.
  6. Once the goods have been received and checked by our staff, a refund will be authorized by the same method that the payment was made. Depending on your financial institution, refunds can take up to 30 days to be credited to your original payment method. In all cases, we have the right to suspend the refund until the goods are received back and inspected.
  7. If you fail to meet the deadlines of our Return policy, we will be unable to offer a refund.

Damages and Issues:

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. We will evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exchanges:

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, you can make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14-day Cooling Off Period:

If the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason and without justification. The item must be in the same condition as when received, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. Proof of purchase is required.

Refunds:

We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we've approved your return, please contact us.
